I hope Christmas was a blessing for all! Our Christmas was better than LaDonna and I thought it would be. Her son was able to come; she and Dad came for the day; LaDonna and her husband were able to Skype during present opening; and we were able to talk to my son and daughter-in-law in California. ( Evidently, Skype had an overload and we could not connect with them!) And needless to say, the grandchildren were bouncing off the walls and ceiling! Momma would have really enjoyed seeing them and their reactions! I think we all had Momma with us in our thoughts and hearts.
I would like to thank all of you for your kind comments and encouragement. For those of you who have mentioned that you would be interested in the walker bag pattern,I dug out my pattern and the following is the website.

Hope you can enjoy creating with it! Best wishes! And you were right...my mother-in-law loved it! She told my husband that the other residents were all talking about it and wanted one!!!

Christmas
Merry Christmas to one and all!!
It is a week until Christmas and I'm sure that everyone has been and is busy. I know that LaDonna is busy working every spare minute on a quilt...not for Christmas but it is so large that she is trying to get it completed as soon as possible. Too many other things are calling her name!
I have also been busy also but on a much smaller level. As I mentioned posts ago, my mother-in-law is not an easy person to get anything for. I had already given her a quilt so I knew that was out for now. When we last saw her, she had an "institutional" walker bag. Light Bulb!!!!! So I made her a much prettier walker bag. Just hope she uses it.
My granddaughter is in Nursery School this year. So of course she had a classroom Christmas program and party. She has a small class. Ummmm....small number of children. Why not make something for them for her Christmas present to give them? Here's what I came up with......
Her momma went to the party and reported back that the kids liked them but the other moms said that they were "just too cute" and "adorable". So I guess they were a hit. Now on to the last two projects......
I hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas and a terrific New Year!
