Before and After
Finally finished sewing the bad blocks. You know, you can actually get some sewing done when you stay home!
Ya know, it's funny.....when I'm not happy with a block....I'm never sure why, so I just put it away with all the other 'sad' little blocks! I'm in awe that you could look at these, and know you just needed to switch them up.
I'm hoping one day I will have that ability to see the possibility, when I'm not happy with the result. It sure would take care of a lot of lonely blocks!
Thanks, y'all! And no, I did not take the bad ones apart! I'm not that OCD, ha,ha! I got more fabric and made all new ones; I'll probably put the bad ones on the back of the quilt whenever I get around to quilting it. I'll have the quilt top done by shop hop, but it won't be quilted! Just not enough time!
You're right. Much better! But did you take them all apart?? What a lot of work!
ReplyDeleteMuch better, the others were O.K. but you can really see the difference. Good work.
ReplyDeleteI like the new blocks - did you unpick the old ones? or just start anew?
ReplyDeleteOh, these are SO much better now! Well done!

Looks good. Those aren't easy fabrics to work with. How long do they give you to get a shop sample done?
ReplyDeleteSometimes it is just good to redo. Much better contrast this way.
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
