LaDonna has been staying a few days at my house so of course we have been having a really good time! We went shopping on New Years Eve day and of course we had to check out a couple fabric stores. She helped me pick out some different fabrics...each with different projects in mind. One of those projects was an upholstery project. Now I haven't upholstered anything in quite a long time so I "asked" LaDonna to help. Well, we worked yesterday and today but the project is now completed...except the scotch guard. We started with this.....
Did all of these steps.......
All of that plus 88 ( at least) staples per chair (and there are four of them) and this is what you get........
TA-DAH !!!!!!
I am so glad that LaDonna was here to "help". She measured, drew, cut, and sewed. I just did the stapling , removal and insertion. It was harder than I thought but much more pleasant with her here! We both thought that Momma would have been proud of her girls!

ReplyDeleteI know how much LaDonna "helped." Sisters get roped into the oddest (read difficult) jobs. I'll bet your mom could hear the laughter and giggles. I'm certain she's be very proud of her girls. Afterall, look at the beautiful job you did!
