I read my sister's post and your responses to her words with tears in my eyes. I know that you know already but I want to say it ...We appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and long distance support so much during this time. I don't know which one of us has the more difficult time...LaDonna because she is there every day or me as I travel back and forth on the weekends. I want to be there (and feel like I need to be there) but am unable due to home responsibilities. I am so torn. Anyway, thank you and please continue your loving support. As I was reading with the tears, I felt the hugs and love.

For some reason the comment button was not working earlier. I have copied the comments to Diana's post. So even though it looks like they are from me, they aren't. Sorry for the confusion..I don't know why it didn't work earlier.

For some reason, it won't let me comment on Diana's entry. I wanted to send her virtual hugs, too. My sister and I lost our mother 7 years ago to cancer, and we understand completely the emotional issues you two struggle with in your different circumstances. My heart is with each of you. Diane, it is amazing that you make the trip every weekend to be with your mother and father during this time. It is no small thing to do this when your own family needs you so much. Don't feel that your actions are any less commendable. There are different seasons in each of our lives at any given point in time, and so it is natural that we each have different capabilities that define our reactions to events. I know it's still hard to be away and your heart aches during the weekdays, but try not to let yourself fall into the guilt trap. {{{{ }}}}

I also tried to comment on Diane's today, but the button seems to be broken. I will continue to pray for all of you, Diane. It's not an easy time, but your love for each other will get you through. Lean on the Lord's love and strength most of all. Big Bear Hugs, Deborah

Diana, don't feel like you're not doing enough! You are doing the best you can, and that's all the more you can do. Your mother would not want you to sacrifice your family to have time with her. I know that at times you want to do more, but it's OK. Prayers for all your family, God will lead you to do the right thing.

Hugs to you both LaDonna and Diana. Thinking of you often and keeping you in my prayers. You are very loved in our little virtual world.
