Quilt top is done!
My borders are now on the quilt. I would love to show pictures, but it's a secret quilt, so I have to wait! It is nicely pressed and waiting for the next step. I had just enough of the fabric for the border! I love when that happens! SO much better than having not quite enough! The backing is completed and the binding also. When I get through quilting a quilt, the last thing I want to do is delay the finish by having to stop and make the binding. So I make it before quilting, wrap it up with a piece of selvage, and it's a little gift to myself!

I like making the binding early, too.....It make the finishing so much faster!

ReplyDeleteConnecting Threads fabric I see. I have used that fabric and its coordinates for a quilt for my youngest son. I like how nice and soft it feels.
