I have to cut the kits tomorrow at the shop, but I hope to have my quilt finished by the end of the week. That's the plan anyway. We'll see how it goes!

Clever use of 2 1/2" strips. Very nice! I like it:)
ReplyDeleteIt is going to look great when you get it done. Good luck cutting all the kits. Hopefully you have an Accuquilt cutter to do the strips.
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great LaDonna. I look forward to seeing the star on it!
ReplyDeleteWhere's that like button? :-) I do like this quilt. Not so sure I'd want to do all the kit cutting, sounds too much like work. Of course, this is coming from the person who would LOVE to open a quilt shop! Well, at least to work in one for a while.
ReplyDeletePretty quilt! But I really want to know about the invisible thread. I bought my spool of Aurifil at the Omaha quilt show...but haven't tried it yet. I hadn't heard about their invisible thread...or that it could be used in the bobbin. So...don't forget...pictures of finished quilt and report on thread!!

Wow - that didn't take too long. Hopefully, the cutting for the kits won't take too long either! Can't wait to see it all finished.
ReplyDeleteI love this quilt. Nice job. Hugs
ReplyDeleteLaDonna, That is beautiful. I love American Flag quilts and this one speaks to me because it is so unique in the interpretation. I love it!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome quilt, LaDonna! I have a couple of jelly roll pre-cuts that would be perfect for that pattern.

Great quilt and what speed! I love your "new" Singer Featherweight. I would've taken it home, too. My little ol' Singer is only around 30 years old and I wouldn't exchange it for the world. Solid as a rock! I've enjoyed your blog today while hugging the AC--it's around 100 F in Tunisia. Think I'll do some hand appliqué and try not to work up a sweat.
ReplyDeletebest, nadia
can't wait to see it!!
ReplyDeleteLaDonna I love the star quilt you did for the shop. Is it a pattern someone did at the shop or it a pattern out there?
ReplyDeleteHugs
